TEXA is the only European company and the second in the world to have created and produced a refrigerant identification system designed for air-conditioning system charging units. To create them, TEXA used a compact, accurate and reliable technology, registering three international patents (in addition to eight when creating the charging unit itself).

Special attention was paid to ensuring that the unit's operation is not affected by the environment, for example hydrocarbon vapors or exhaust gases that may be present at a service station.

Standard containers, not being sealed, always contain some percentage of air and water molecules that bond with the oil, contaminating it. TEXA's solution, using special bottles with registered patents, prevents contamination of the oil with air and moisture. These special TEXA containers can be used continuously, because a special device removes excess air each time the bottles are installed.

To guarantee safety and efficiency, different types of oil and refrigerant must not come into contact with each other. Therefore, TEXA has developed a special automatic function for cleaning the internal circuit of the unit.

AUTOMATIC RECOGNITION OF CONTAINERS

The scales for weighing the extracted refrigerant are often inaccurate when measuring, reaching an error of 20%. One of the reasons for the inaccuracy depends on the condition of the floor at the service station where the charging units are used. Even a slight tilt leads to a weighing error and, consequently, to a shortage or excess injection of refrigerant into the vehicle. The special TILT SENSOR SYSTEM FOR OBTAINING ACCURATE READINGS, patented by TEXA, analyzes the horizontal position of the scales and warns in case of inaccurate weighing.

The new R1234yf refrigerant is classified as flammable and, therefore, certain precautions must be taken to avoid ignition. The charging units of the KONFORT 700 line have a highly efficient fan system to prevent any possibility of gas stagnation inside the unit.

The charging units of the KONFORT 700 line automatically perform a double check of possible gas leaks from the cylinder at any time. All operations concerning safety take place in a fully automatic way, without the possibility of error or forgetfulness on the part of the operator.

TEXA's software, thanks to a large network of sensors, manages the testing and loading process to guarantee previously unknown accuracy. In particular, automatic procedures help the mechanic in case of repairing very complex cases, for example, for new hybrid cars.

FLUSH KIT

Flushing is a mechanical operation that allows cleaning the entire wiring of the vehicle's air-conditioning system. This kit consists of:
• an additional cylinder with a volume of 6 liters with a contamination degree indicator;
• a steel inox filter that is simply removed and washed;
• high-conductivity hoses with an inner diameter of 5 millimeters;
• a case containing a set of universal adapters (more than 60 pieces).

VDCTEXA KIT

developed the VDC (Variable Displacement Compressor) interface, which allows detecting faults in air-conditioning systems equipped with variable-displacement compressors. VDC interprets the command signal of the electronic control unit and reproduces its changes depending on the compressor performance value, which allows performing a complete and accurate test.
