Kit 829068 was developed to offer the timing tools required for the popular VAG 1.6/2.0 TDi engines, including the latest versions. From 2013. 829068 is a 9-piece kit consisting of the components needed to lock the crankshaft, camshaft pulley and fuel pump pulley in their set positions, allowing the camshaft timing belt to be removed and replaced.
Kit 829068 also includes the special VAG tool for removing sump plugs, designed specifically for the plastic sump plugs and timing mechanism used on the later 1.6/2.0 TDi CR diesel engines.
